Cloudbelly
with Special Birthday Performance by Ciarra Fragale
Cloudbelly is a Western Massachusetts-based indie-folk band known for their emotionally charged songwriting and expansive, genre-blurring sound. Centered around Corey Laitman’s poetic lyrics and haunting vocals, the band draws from alt-folk, art-rock, and ambient textures to create music that feels nostalgic, cinematic, and raw. Their 2024 album i know i know i know earned national acclaim—named one of the Top Albums of the Year by The Boston Globe and nominated for Album of the Year at the Boston Music Awards. With a lineup featuring guitarist Sam Perry, drummer/producer Nate Mondschein, and guitarist/vocalist Ciarra Fragale, Cloudbelly delivers live performances that are both emotionally immersive and disarmingly playful. Their next album, due in 2026, marks a bold new chapter in their evolving sound.
Ciarra Fragale
Ranging from heartbreak pop to cinematic indie rock, Ciarra Fragale’s music has been described as “atmospheric and aspirational, precisely the sort of emotive sensibility we are collectively yearning for.” Known for her soaring vocals and live looping arrangements, the Hudson Valley-native and Western MA-based musician often draws comparisons to artists like Beach Fossils, Kate Bush, and The Japanese House.
In 2025, Ciarra released her 4th studio album Get What You Want (produced by Eric Slick of Dr. Dog). This fall will mark the release of her first ambient guitar exploration, Digital Bath. Ciarra also plays in regionally-renowned band Cloudbelly, as well as other projects.

Studio 9 is located at 18 Veazie St, adjacent to the Porches Inn.
You are welcome to park in the following locations:
– The small lot across the street
– The community lot nearest the UNO Park on River St
– East side of Veazie Street (same side as the studio)
– or on the Porches side of River St.
Do not park in the following locations:
– Porches Guest lots
– The downhill side of Veazie
– Eastbound side of River Street (the side that Mass MoCA is on)
