Soul Science Lab

Soul Science Lab presents excerpts from The Renaissance Mixtape in residency at Studio 9

Soul Science Lab is excited to present work in progress from their new Hip Hop musical entitled “The Renaissance Mixtape”.” Commissioned by The Apollo Theater, The Renaissance Mixtape is a mixed reality musical that centers ancestral remembrance to juxtapose Black History and Black Future. It follows two young  artists who use music, images and choreography to reflect on compelling aspects of the Harlem Renaissance that parallel their contemporary experience. Come join them on Thursday Jan 26th for an exclusive sharing of musical excerpts from the production.

Studio 9 is located at 18 Veazie St, adjacent to the Porches Inn.
You are welcome to park in the following locations:
– The small lot across the street
– The community lot nearest the UNO Park on River St
– East side of Veazie Street (same side as the studio)
– or on the Porches side of River St.
Do not park in the following locations:
– Porches Guest lots
– The downhill side of Veazie
– Eastbound side of River Street (the side that Mass MoCA is on)
